- Torii already finds shadow SaaS. Why would we add Spendassay?
- Because finding it and pricing it are different jobs. A discovery tool tells you a subscription exists. An audit tells you what it costs, how much of it is being wasted, which of your teams the spend belongs to, and how firm that number is. On AI specifically the gap is wider than on ordinary SaaS, because most of the cost lives in metered usage that no per-application inventory has a column for.
- Does Spendassay automate deprovisioning like Torii does?
- The audit does not write to your systems at all: it produces step-by-step instructions your own admins carry out. Acting automatically is Control, a separate opt-in plan in private beta that runs on your own provider keys. If cross-estate automation is what you need, that is a SaaS management platform's job and Spendassay is not competing for it.
- Can we run both?
